What information do we gather?

How secure is the information I provide?

• Whenever we request sensitive information, such as credit card information, we transmit the information you provide to us using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol.  SSL encrypts the information before it is sent over the Internet and our servers decode the information upon receiving it.  While it is being sent over the Internet no one can read it even if the information is intercepted.
• We do not reveal your credit card numbers when confirming an order.  Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.

What can I do to further secure the information I provide to you?

You can secure the information that you have provided to EB Jacobs by preventing unauthorized access to your EB Jacobs accounts.  To protect against unauthorized access secure your login and password information be sure to sign off when finished using our Web site.
